由近50家企業組成的台商代表團昨天前往越南胡志明市，與越方相關單位配合舉辦台越貿易促進研討會，目的在於尋求合作商機，加強雙方貿易關係。

越通社新聞網站（vietnamplus.vn）報導，赴越台灣業者生產經營領域主要包括工業機械設備、建築材料、汽車與車零配件、電信、化妝品、衛生設備與營養食品等。

中華民國對外貿易發展協會（貿協）與會代表說，胡志明市、乃至於越南是台灣在東南亞地區的重要夥伴，因此貿協一直重視越南市場，每年都舉辦多項台越企業交流活動，包括這項研討會。

他說，台商代表團這次訪越，目的是與越南分銷商、零售商等接觸交流，了解越商相關資訊與經營情形，促進簽署貿易合作合約，同時尋求對越南直接投資商機，尤其是在胡志明市。

報導說，越南是台灣第13大貿易夥伴。預計今年全年台越雙邊貿易總額約達98億美元。(中央社)
