立法院副院長洪秀柱20日上午在支持者簇擁下前往國民黨中央登記，成為國民黨內第一位黨內總統初選領表者。現場雖有不少支持者，但卻僅有一名新北市議員到場為她加油，她說，何必為難人家呢？

洪秀柱20日前往國民黨中央啟動參選事宜，完成領表程序後，她也向支持者發表演說，她強調自己從基層來，當然是一塊磚，那塊磚是定方位、定方向、定地基的磚，我是那一塊磚。她也正式宣布，洪秀柱開始起跑，請大家跟我來。

演說結束後，她也走向群眾，向支持者一一握手致意。

媒體追問，只有一名新北市議員陳儀君到場為她加油，不見其他民代，對此，洪秀柱則回應，不要為難人家，她說她在立法院都不敢拜託立委幫她連署，何必為難人家呢？

她說，人家心理支持不一定從表面站出來，支持她的，不見得只有今天來到現場的人，有多少人在家裡按讚啊！對自己要有信心，也不要去為難別人。
