在臉書上抱怨工作、罵老闆沒人性是許多上班族常做的事，但美國佛羅里達州1名男子只因為上「臉書」發發牢騷，竟然因此吃上牢飯，最高可能面臨5年刑期。

根據美聯社報導，佛州男子培特（Ryan Pate）在阿拉伯聯合大公國當直升機技師，但他因為病假事宜和雇用他的阿聯公司鬧出糾紛，氣得他回佛州時上臉書抱怨。

上月銷假返回阿聯首都阿布達比，培特卻被告知要向警局報到，之後即因中傷雇主觸犯阿聯法律被捕。

培特坦承說老闆「放冷槍」等等，現在後悔莫及，他在監獄待了10天，現在獲保出獄，等待3月17日上庭受審。如遭定罪，最高可判他5年徒刑與高額罰金。
